About us

At Tropical Seas, we believe that protecting our oceans is not just an idea, but a responsibility. Our founder's passion for the ocean began on a spearfishing trip where he witnessed first-hand the impact of pollution on our marine life. The image of plastic waste inspired him to create a sustainable clothing brand that would help prevent further harm to our oceans. Our logo, featuring a ship wheel and a pineapple, came to our founder in a dream, and with the help of an inspiring artist, it became a reality. Starting out, we sold our shirts out of the back of our car and through text messages to friends and family. Our first three drops of shirts all sold out, and we knew we were on to something special. We organized our first beach cleanup at the exact spot where our founder was inspired to create the brand, and we released our own beer, a light pineapple IPA, with the help of Heavy Reel Brewery.
